How to Gain Followers and Sell Products on the Social Media

Currently, Social media marketing has become a crucial part for most businesses and companies.  They have to face several challenges to sell their product on social media platforms.  Getting more readers and followers are becoming the hardest task for them.
But the social media marketing strategy helps to make their businesses profitable.  Online stores are having 32% more sales because of their active social presence.  That means, if you make your social media marketing rightfully for your product, chances are high that your product’s sell will go on higher notches.
But unfortunately, most companies fail to grow their businesses online. Some companies don’t know about their audience’s whereabouts, or some don’t focus on content.  Even many businesses forget to have human interaction with their consumers.


So, Here I’m talking about gaining more followers and consumer with your right social media marketing strategy.


1. Know Your Audience Very Well

It’s important for every business to grow its social media presence.  Find that where your target audience is more active. If they use Facebook more than Instagram, you could channelize your product strongly on that platform.
You have to find your target customers’ demographics.  You have to do in-depth research about such facts like as age, income, job, and gender. If your product is targeted to adults with all ages, you will find them more active on Facebook.  There are 79% of adults who have an active online presence on Facebook.
It is important to know that where your target audience/customers talk mostly about your product. You could check their conversation with the help of online monitoring tools.  Also, you could use ‘Google Analytics’ to find about your customers’ demographics.

2. Make Your Profile Easy Findable

Your social media profile should find easily, even by non-followers.  Make your username readable.  Your profile picture should tell people about your brand/product/ business/you.
If you want to build the noticeable social media presence for your business, add relevant keywords to your business in your profiles. When users will search for your business/product, your profile will become more visible to them.
You could upload your profile image/cover photo of your brand logo.  It could be easy-findable by your customers.
Optimize your profile description with the right keywords.
You must fill the social media profile completely.  You have to change a profile image/cover photo every 2 months.

3. Make Your Business Mobile-Friendly

Nowadays, Social media users prefer smartphones than desktops/ laptops. So, you should focus on your mobile social media campaign.  You could test various versions of your site on various mobile operating systems.
The most important part of your mobile site is its page speed. 
The Mobile shopping experience has become an easy and simple experience for users. Also, producing mobile ads is cheap and easy.

4. Share the Valuable Content with Your Consumers

If you want that people should follow your brand/product, you have to give them value.  They say ‘Content is king.’ So, you could give valuable content to them.  Share something interesting tips or facts related to your post.  In addition, you can make funny or entertaining posts. But remember; don’t post your cat’s photos there.  You should share useful content for your readers/consumers.
Remember, Content can build a conversation, which builds relationships. Relationships are the main motive to drive ROI.  So, you should focus on the right content strategy for social media networks.

5. Talk Like Human

You should talk with your readers/consumers like a human being, not like any robot.  Your social media interactions could become a right tool to stand out among your competitors.  Reply to your customer as you’re talking to your friend.
Even your posts and product descriptions should have a ‘human touch.’ 
Suppose, if your customer asks about any bad experience related to your product, don’t reply as ‘Contact Customer Care’ or something else. You could reply him/her with a heartfelt talk.
To increase human interactions, you could ask interesting questions to your readers, you could make them laugh or even cry with funny/ philosophical quotes, you could engage them in an informative conversation.
What’s more, you could encourage your customers to post their reviews of your products. 
Remember, if you talk with your customers like a human being, it will help to make reputation and brand.
But don’t forget that, social media is for fun. So engage your readers to share their personal
Stories/funny photos, which could relate to your products.
You could connect with your readers daily. 

6. Visualize Your Social Media

Social media is known for visuals. Users share visual content more than 40 times on social media networks.   Entertain your audience with stunning custom visuals.   These visuals must relate to your content and product. 

7. Video Marketing

If you put an effective video about your product on social media platforms, Chances are high that readers will get attracted to your product easily.  The readers can turn into new customers for your product.

8. Make a strong CTA phrase

Your customers will get annoyed if you ask them to click on several links.  Also, on-page searches can make a messy social page for customers.
Just tell your customers about your product, and create a strong call-to-action (CTA) for them.  Make sure, they could easily navigate from the social network page to the landing page. You have to create an action-driven post along with a strong CTA phrase.
You have to say that what the product is about and pursue their buying decision in perfect words.

9. Make consistent branding

Make a clear branding on all social media platforms.  Keep consistency in your branding.  Your brand should be recognizable and clear on all platforms. 
You must update your Facebook page (Business page) every 2 months.   You have to make quick replies to your readers’ comments. 
Make a strong email list.  The blog or the website, which is related to your product, makes a great impact. So think about creating the one for your branding.
