10. Pluckley Village, Kent, Britain


Pluckley is most popularly recognized for its Fright Corner, Screaming Wood and dozens of ghosts that are seen by people around this. This is the most famous site for real-life Halloween and is designated as the infamous haunted village in entire Britain and thus we rank it as the 10th World’s Top Most Scariest Places.



9. Changi Beach, Singapore
The infamous reputation of being the ground  of Sook Ching massacre by Japanese, during WWII; Changi Beach is mostly visited to feel the presence of the souls of the dead. Visitors report to hear the outrageous screams and even souls flying without heads in this place.

As it withstand the historical instance of brutality and killing with aftereffect sufferance, we rank it in the 9th position of our World’s Top Most Scariest Places.

8. La Isla De La Munecas, (Island of Dolls), Xochimilco, Mexico

Situated in Xochimilco, the scary island of dolls owned by Julian Santana Barrera, is infamous for creating the grievous image of dolls to the tender hearts. This island is marked so, after Julian found a dead girl in one of its canals. Thereafter Julian followed collecting all the discarded dolls and their parts to hang them on trees. Because of its belief on the capacity to discard evil spirits, even after the death of Julian in 2001; we enlisted this location in the 8th position in the list of our World’s Top Most Scariest Places.

7. Hill of Crosses, Lithuania

Though this place is mostly recommended as the site for Catholic pilgrimage, yet its structure and existences since 1830s creates a very scary ambience. There are giant crucifixes along with more than 100,000 crosses. Pope John Paul II declared this place as a representation of Love Peace and Hope, but to spend a night in this place can result in a lifelong nightmare for you.



  
6. Hashima Island, Japan

This is an Island for coal mining during 1887 and again in the year 1974. It is discovered almost 15kms away from the town of Nagasaki. After coal was replaced by petroleum in Japan during 1960s, the entire population of 5,259 people of Hashima Island was absolutely abandoned and eventually it turned to be a "Ghost Island".






5. Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland

The typical medieval castle of Edinburgh has been perched over a rocky crag. Its scariness gets added by its huge echoing empty halls. King Close of Mary, ghost dogs, prison cells of the Castle, headless drummer, and the entomb plague victims makes this place very scary and thus is No. 5 in our list.

4. Paris Catacombs, Paris

As the title itself represents Cave Underground that is 280km beneath the city; you can well imagine the ambience when you see remains of more than 6 million people there. These deaths were the result of French Resistance in WWII.






3. Aokigahara Suicide Forest, Japan

 Aokigahara Forest, Mount Fuji is a preternaturally silent location that atracts people to commit suicide, and the practice still exists with a rate of 100 deaths each year.

The reasons are still a myustery among these woods.

2. Road of North Yungas, Bolivia

This road is also infamous as "Death Road" or locally termed as “El Camino de la Muerte”. The scariest thing about this 60km long road of 1930s, is its combination of no-guard rails, heavy fog and rain that adds to a fall of 600 metres of straight death.

1. Bhangarh Fortress, India
About this place there is just one Statutory Note:
“The Archeological Survey of India has put up a board on the fort gate that it is prohibited for tourists to stay inside the fort area after sunset and before sunrise. Locals say whoever has tried to stay inside after sunset was never found.”
