When the entire world is discussing Climate Change and seeking means of mitigating the already done dame to our environment, only a few have done their part to make it a reality. Telsa Company is the success story of such efforts. A group of American scientists who firmly believes that avoiding fossil fuel is the best solution for our future, brought their belief and dream to reality by launching the Tesla Motors in 2003. Of course, no name can be better than the famous inventor Nikola Tesla whose vision of the future on electricity usage are still being explored and debated till date.

When we speak of electric cars, our mind creates a picture of a small vehicle with less speed, less manoeuvrability, less attraction etc. as compared to our gasoline guzzling fashionable automobile. Tesla was about to change this. Tesla founders wanted to show the world that electric cars can be as good as our regular automobile and sometimes even better. The launch of Tesla's first electric vehicle "Roadster" in 2008 shattered the common notion about electric cars and showed the people what an electric car can do.

But do you know that the idea of the above company and car were born from the collapse of electric cars by a famous company. Yes, GM Motors launched their electric vehicle EV1 in 1996 and was the first electric vehicle to be mass produced till 1999 till they were finally called off the roads in 2003. But the idea and belief that electric vehicles can perform at par with others fuelled the launch of Tesla Company.

With the launch of Roadster in 2008, the company continued their efforts to develop better automobiles. The company presently produces three models - Model S, Model X and Model 3. But it has new ideas for the near future. Though the company had their own financial ups and down, the company continues to grow and sales are increasing.

Hopefully, Tesla Motors, now known as Telsa Inc. continues to be successful inspiring others to believe that they could really contribute to the new era with their ideas of alternate energy and machinery that can run in harmony with our demanding times.
